Use the Palm Install tool to install the “FlightView.prc” file.
Using:
When connecting to an MC with the Palm, connect the Palm serial cable directly to the MC’s ribbon cable. Do not use the Null-Modem cable used with a desktop machine.
FlightView for PalmOS shows a flight summary screen.
This screen displays the date, recorded maximum altitude, air speed, and acceleration. It also has room to note the rockets name, launch site, motors used, and any other notes.
There is a single menu, with 5 menu items:
Open - Displays a list of recorded flight. You may select one of these to view in the summery screen
Configure - Displays a dialog used to configure the MC.
Bench Test - Displays an MC Bench Test dialog.
Get Flight - Download a flight from an MC.
Upload - Opens the serial port, and waits for FlightView to connect. FlightView can then upload all saved flights. Requires FlightView version 1.5 or later
In addition, FlightView, when connected, can erase all flights from the PalmOS Machine.
